Arran Towers

Project co-ordinator + Puppeteer & Clown

Arran trained for eight months with Belfast Circus School (1999) and discovered a desire to perform and to work with young people. Since then he has co-founded Cork Circus (2001) and Mind the GAP (2006). He has performed, street theatre, puppetry and storytelling across Ireland and the UK. He spent 3 months in Delhi (2002) training with traditional Indian string puppeteers and with Ishamudin Khan a traditional magician. He has subsequently toured with various Indian traditional artists.

Arran strongly believes that performing and traditional arts and crafta are a unique educational tool with which to celebrate, preserve and engender trust in the marvel that is human diversity.
